| Introduced in October 2006, players' wives and girlfriends "The Softer Side" have teamed up to assist the Fury in their community events. The Softer Side will be involved with many different community events supporting local charities around Muskegon. |
On December 7th, the Softer Side sold Christmas ornaments painted and signed by the Fury players, with the proceeds going to Every Women's Place in Muskegon.
On December 20th, the Softer Side along with some of the Fury players delivered Christmas gifts to the pediatric unit at Hackley Hospital. There where three great big bags full of Christmas gifts that where donated by the Hot Shotz Kids Club of the Muskegon Fury. The players and the Softer Side handed out the presents to the children that were hospitalized in the pediatric unit. They signed autographs and took pictures as well.
The pediatric unit staff along with the families of the hospitalized children were very "blessed" that we did this for the children who where not going to be home for the holidays. |
